The Agreement was signed by the presidents of these states on September 4, 2009 in Moscow.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law amending the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai. The presidents discussed topical issues pertaining to the implementation of agreements on developing cooperation between Russia and Afghanistan in bilateral and multilateral formats, which were reached at a meeting in Sochi in August this year.
