The President submitted to the Supreme Khural (parliament) of the Republic of Tuva the candidacy of Sholban Kara-ool for the post of the republic’s head and prime minister.

The party leaders presented to Dmitry Medvedev their list of candidates for the post of Head of the Republic of Tuva.

Pavel Astakhov submitted a report on the performance of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights since his appointment to this post.

In accordance with the Federal Law On the Police Force, the President issued executive order on appointments to senior Interior Ministry posts.

During the conversation, which took place on Friday after the State Council Presidium meeting, Dmitry Medvedev and Sholban Kara-ool discussed the potential for electric power development in Tuva.
