Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan following terrorist attacks.
The massage reads, in part:
“It was with great sorrow that I learned of a number of acts of terror in various cities of Nigeria which caused loss of many human lives.
I decisively condemn the cruelty and cynicism of the crimes and should specifically stress that terrorism has no nationality or religion. It is a global challenge which must be addressed by joining all the forces. Russia is ready to actively cooperate with the international community to counter the terrorist threat.
Mr President, please convey my words of sympathy and support to everyone affected and my condolences to the families and friends of the victims.”
